Naturopathic Doctor, ND
Dr. Tamon Farquharson
I was born in Jamaica, immigrated to the US when I was a child and grew up primarily in Cambridge, MA. I received my bachelor degree in biology with a minor in art at UMASS Amherst, and worked in research for several years. I had the intention to become a Medical Doctor, but I felt a calling to practice natural medicine after I heard the health message. At that time, I was experiencing health related issues due to conventional medical treatments in my young adult years and I knew that natural medicine is God's solution to healing. I attended National University of Health Sciences in Lombard IL and received my degree of Naturopathic Doctor. I am blessed with two nature loving boys, Timothy and Titus and I am thankful for my supportive husband Leighton, who has helped me to acknowledge and apply the health message to my life. I thank God for His guidance and strength along the way. I am grateful that God can use me to teach health principles and that God continues to teach me how to help others.
